Description

My first attempt at combining wide field milky way shots with a foreground object. This was taken at the Wadi Shab honeycomb tombs which to my understanding are from the bronze age. Driving to the location involved a solid 2 hours of dusty mountain trails and steep inclines along with some rather scary moments. It was all worth it.

Taken with Canon 60Da on a vixen Polarie with a 24-105 f4L set at 24mm and open wide at f4 approximately 63 seconds exposure. Used a flashlight to expose the ancient tomb in the exposure. Vixen Polarie set to track at half sidereal rate. You can see me sort of blurred out in the distance as I had to walk closer to the tomb in order to light it up
